《青春辞典之毕业季》有三大主题：一是青春励志；二是闺蜜故事；三是爱情喜剧。主要讲述三个青年人从校园踏入社会前后中的角色找寻、定位与各种努力。。自從家庭教師靈音來到後，暮氣沈沈的紫薇園，有了明顯的改變。靈音鼓勵學詩和莫愁把大宅的落後，荒涼和頹喪嘗試轉變，又邀請多愁善感的誦詩，滿腔抑怨的鳳儀參加活動，兩人雖沒有參加，卻為他們帶來的生氣。靈音關心誦詩， 常勸他勇敢面對人生，兩人漸生愛意，誦詩亦鼓起勇氣約會靈音，暫時忘卻疾病和內心苦悶。鳳儀守寡，但大宅控制人郝老太不許她與舊情侶再婚，因為世俗和家規，鳳儀曾自殺，舊情侶清洛的深情和靈音的再三勸告，加速了鳳儀的反抗，與舊情侶離去。誦詩病重，挨不過春天，靈音陪伴左右，靜侍春天……。For two small-town teenagers in love, this is that one last summer they will spend together before going their separate ways.
