The best man at Scott (Long) and Kristin's (Weixler) Arizona destination wedding, Lumpy (Labine) is the life of the party, until a long, indulgent night leads to his untimely death. Forced to cancel their honeymoon and fly back to Minneapolis to arrange for his funeral, Scott and Kristin meet Ramsey (Timlin) and learn that Lumpy isn't quite who they thought he was.。今回の物語は、占拠される半年前に遡る。耕一は、刑事・相模俊介（白洲迅）と共に設計事務所に侵入。界星堂病院の設計図のデータファイルを入手しようとするものの、突然やって来た事務所の職員と警備員に遭遇したことで中断。自分たちは刑事だと述べてその場をごまかした耕一と相模だが、職員らと一緒に乗り込んだエレベーターが途中で止まって閉じ込められてしまう。。
