上世纪二十年代，年轻的李富春和蔡畅在一次留法学生聚会中相识，两个同样满怀着爱国热情和报国支援的年轻人被对方的风采深深吸引。蔡畅的哥哥蔡和森与周恩来、向警予带邻着勤工俭学的留学生在北洋政府驻法公使馆门前示威请愿，学生们被陈公使召来的法国巡警所镇压，李富春为救蔡畅，被巡警打伤，两人的感情愈加深厚，遂结为夫妻。生下女儿李特特后，蔡畅和李富春为革命事业忍痛离开尚在襁褓中的女儿，远赴苏联学习。此后，一家人为了祖国和人民，随时都准备着为革命献出自己的生命。终于，新中国成立了，但两个人继续为建设祖国而努力工作。文化大革命爆发，李富春和蔡畅被这场突如其来的政治风暴压得喘不过气来，他们相伴在一起，共同经历着这场艰难的考验。1975年初，李富春积劳成疾，病危住院，蔡畅前往探视，却因自己感冒怕感染丈夫，只得在特护病房外与李富春交谈，无情的玻璃窗门使两人只能用纸和笔相互表达思想感情，一对相濡以沫53年的革命伴侣，不得不在此诀别……。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems?
