The series follows James St. Patrick, nicknamed "Ghost", owner of a popular New York City nightclub. In addition, he is a major player in one of the city's biggest illegal drug networks. He struggles to balance these two lives, and the balance topples when he realizes he wants to leave the drug ring in order to support his legitimate business.。忠男（岸谷五朗饰）在老同学世一的出租汽车公司里工作，忠男是个身无长技的男人，满脑子想着的都是怎么泡妞。忠男喜欢上了在母亲所经营的酒吧里打工的女孩柯妮（鲁比·莫雷诺 Ruby Moreno 饰），导致母亲和柯妮之间的关系非常的紧张。一心二用的忠男最终招致了柯妮的厌恶，同时自己的工作也弄得一团糟。 为了躲避忠男， 柯妮辞去了酒吧的工作，逃到了另一家店中，哪知道忠男猛追不舍，设计让柯妮丢掉了工作。而他驾驶着一辆车等在店门口，从店里失魂落魄走出来的柯妮顺理成章的坐上了他的车，两人的目的地是东京。。
