CBS正式宣布续订#反恐特警队# 第二季。。英国演员Peter Serafinowicz先前作为主演加盟Amazon的试映集《闪电超人 The Tick》。本剧根据Ben Edlund的漫画改编的、以全新演员阵容翻拍；Edlund曾在2001在Fox创作了同名真人版剧，同时也是1994年动画片的创作人，这一次他又将重新执笔，幷还将担任本剧的执行制片人。 新版将把这个肌肉发达的蓝色超级英雄（Serafinowicz饰）重新带回观众的视线。新版本中，闪电超人从失忆中恢复过来，他不想再与 Arthur（Griffin Newman饰）组队打击邪恶了。同时新版本中还将加入很多新的角色，其中还包括Arthur的妹妹Dot（Valorie Curry饰）。 Brendan Hines饰演的Superian，一个有些个人问题的超级英雄。奥斯卡提名者Jackie Earle Haley加盟Amazon试映集《...。Castlevania: Nocturne, a new Netflix animated series, is officially in production.
