志愿者高井有子（占部房子饰）在伊拉克遭遇绑架，虽然最终获释，但回到祖国日本后却遭遇了种种不公：工作的酒店内因有人对其进行诽谤而将有子辞退；父亲（田中隆三饰）也因为收到大量的匿名电话而被迫辞职；男友横加指责，恋情终结；便利店禁止进入；来自周遭的肆意欺负和挑衅。 不堪忍受压力的父亲跳楼自杀，这更加剧了有子内心的痛苦，她决心重返那个战火不断、硝烟四起的国家…… 本片获2005年戛纳电影节金棕榈奖提名。。Norman, a retired police officer, works as a night security guard in a building. One evening, he surprised Nathalie and Guylain committing a robbery and, after a chase in the building, they manage to escape. Curiously, Nathalie returns to visit Normand a few weeks later asking him for refuge. A special relationship between the two develops and changes the course of their lives....。
