A vehicle crash in the Pine Barrens leads to a missing teen which raises conspiracy theories about the infamous Jersey Devil legend. On the anniversary of the crash, Sarah Franklin, convinced her cousin Kelsey is alive, goes out to the crash site with Alex, Kelsey's boyfriend, to investigate. Things go downhill quickly as Sarah and Alex uncover what really lurks in the woods.。阿爱（冯宝宝 饰）是一个年届五十，打算提早退休的女性，她成长时依赖父亲；婚后依赖丈夫，甚至希望她的将来能寄望在儿子（蔡瀚亿 饰）身上。可是，这几个在她身边的重要男人，都在这刻一一离她而去，包括在这一刻她才知道失踪了十年的丈夫早已离世；她的爸爸因为离婚后有新的感情寄托，亦离她而去，更告知她将来会需要供养一个未出世的弟弟；至于她的儿子是一个“宅男”——永远躲在房间里面对计算机，与世隔绝。她一一失去人生的依靠，在这个过程中，她如何想通事情积极面对，咬实牙根面对生活，面对逆境改变自已，打消提早退休的想法，努力活下去……。
