受伤的穿山甲、失亲的小山羌、落难的鸟儿们纷纷送入位在池上的野湾，这是中国台湾东部第一家野生动物医院。一幕幕生离死别在此上演，有时喜悦有时伤悲，然而这群兽医师与保育员无暇纠结，因仍有许多落难动物待抢救、野放状况待追踪。记录行动者身影，详实科普之余，洋溢坚定傻劲。。The film is a follow-up to Kvedaravicius’ 2016 doc Mariupolis, which followed the lives of everyday citizens in Mariupol as the threat of war with Russia escalated.。
