Through landscapes fueled by silence, resentment and brief moments of joy, Ale will try to protect them from the seething truth, their mother has left them and is not coming back.。该片讲述了高翠兰为了顺应父母之命，配合举办招亲大会，可诸事不顺，不但没嫁出去，反而成了高老庄的笑柄。 高老爷想尽办法，自导自演了山大王抢亲，路上阴差阳错遭遇猪刚鬣，他误打误撞又将高翠兰给送回高宅，而后与高翠兰之间发生一系列的爱恨纠葛，最终唐僧等人在高老庄将他“收服”为徒，一起去往西天取经的故事。。
