Why do we tolerate the deat...。夏天、海边、烟火盛宴。一群高三生好朋友们在夜晚的海边庆祝自己的变化。升到高三的他们自此有了新的称呼，那就是“考生”。这群考生包括根岸洋贵（冈田将生饰）、白崎凛久（北乃绮饰）、田幡八朗（滨田岳饰）、屋嶋灯里（吉高由里子饰）等人。他们除了学业上的事，生活中也经历着青春期必经的烦恼。在第二天上学的途中，洋贵经过海边，听到了小孩的呼救声，待他赶去营救时，发现小孩已被一个男人救起。更不思议的是，这个男人就是学校新来的老师樱井朔太郎（织田裕二饰）。 于是不像老师的樱井和这群性格各异古灵精怪的学生开始了这最后一年的高中生活。一段段感动又励志的故事就此上演。。
