骨灰盒推销员小康（李康生）结束心力交瘁的一日后，悄悄潜入一幢公寓里的一间房，没想这间房里，还会潜入一个会是其欲望（投射）对象的地摊小贩（陈昭荣）。房子的暂时主人是一个售楼小姐（杨贵媚），她和小康性向虽然有异，却同样是没有爱情（情感）温暖心灵的人。 小康和地摊小贩一开始时时提防（售楼小姐和彼此），待他们认识了解到各自的生活后，提防心理消除，却也没有自此成为朋友（懦弱的小康也鼓不起勇气示爱）。售楼小姐和地摊小贩发生过几次性关系，清楚地明白彼此都是为了满足身体的长久饥渴，爱情（感情）并没有什么万岁之处，身体上的快感可以暂时满足，精神上的安慰却无法获得（即使有，也是短暂如烟花）。。二十三年前，八王叛乱，前西凉王高怀安受结拜兄弟孔墨守之托，率三千西凉陷阵军挥师勤王，匡扶皇室，平定内乱，而后遭孔墨守背叛，被强行诬陷造反叛国，高怀安为证清白，带三千陷阵军自刎于皇城脚下。高怀安死后，孔墨守抢走功劳，受封大夏第一圣人。。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
