故事背景设定在一大家人居住的公寓，祖孙三代都居住在这并不算太宽敞的公寓。有限的空间，必然也让一家人的矛盾激化放大。同一屋檐下的故事不断上演。。Peter和Lorna潜入旧金山的一个神秘组织，这个组织由一个名叫Maggie的女人控制，这个女人从未离开过她的地下室，但却得到一干信徒的盲目追随，他们为她弄来食物、打扫房间、甚至奉献血液为之输液……Peter和Lorna带着隐藏的摄像机，希望揭穿Maggie的骗局。This would definitely not have been my kind of movie, but my husband saw it on TV and said it was really good. So, on his recommendation, I bought a copy, since I didn't know if it would ever be on TV again. I had never heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。
