居住在东京的坪井一家，生活平淡而不乏趣味。身为广告制作人的男主人良多（阿部宽 饰）是一名好好先生，虽身处管理层，却不被下属敬重。妻子沙江（山口智子 饰）是当红的美食设计师，每日里工作繁忙，不得闲暇。独生女萌江（蒔田彩珠 饰）脾性怪怪，自称有第六感，时常在学校惹出乱子。某天，与良多关系疏远的父亲荣辅（夏八木勋 饰）去长野途中病倒，良多偶然在医院见到神秘女子菜穗（宫崎葵 饰）前来探病，遂与母亲敏子（吉行和子 饰）、姐姐多希（YOU 饰）一通猜疑。此后，不受待见的良多申请带薪休假，带着被停课的萌江前往长野探寻菜穗的身份以及传说中的森林小矮人库纳的踪迹。 充满惊喜和安逸的寻找之旅，许多失落的情感与记忆不知不觉间得到了修复……。Uninspired and newly single painter Sara is down on her luck and wants nothing more than to get away from her problems.
