Story takes place at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii just before the attack by the Japanese on December 7, 1941. The main plot deals with the adulterous love affair between Sgt. Warden and Karen Holmes, who's married to Warden's commanding officer Captain Dana Holmes.。改编自同名韩漫，讲述了对他人漠不关心的优等生·水无濑仁（本岛纯政饰），破天荒地为了不与班里的问题儿童·蛭川晴喜（上村谦信饰）扯上关系而过着学生生活。但是有一天，水无濑在学校外面偶然看到了被父亲打得遍体鳞伤的蛭川。意外地知道了秘密的水无濑，为了不让关系进一步深入而与蛭川保持距离，但是和在学校时完全不同的蛭川的样子在脑海中挥之不去。。
