In the midst of social and political unrest, the two women discover a country in turmoil, searching for its identity on the brink of independence.。子弹乃龙虎武师，薪酬不佳且工作危险，但父亲龙爷身为武术指导敬业乐业，弹与兄钱罂亦乐于卖力工作。一武师因不慎于拍戏时葬身火海，龙感唏嘘。龙师兄转往庙街卖武，不支身亡，唯临终托龙代为照顾其偷渡儿女小青小男，龙尽力帮忙。弹安排失当，令青成黑市居民。其时武侠片市道欠佳，弹却遇上良机接拍文艺片，惜需远赴台湾工作，不能照顾父兄，弹犹豫，终接受条件，更与青同往。龙不舍，仍支持儿子发展.。
