A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。故事发生在湖南武冈，南明朝永历皇帝一度偏安于此，以图反清复明。武冈是明朝建国之初由明太祖朱元璋分封的岷国藩王的都城。如今的朱岷王是永历皇帝的皇叔，他见南明大势已去便勾结清兵，被永历皇帝派人暗杀，但朱岷王的头颅不知去见。南明决定继续南撤，为了转移从北京带出的金银财宝（反清复明的资本），永历皇帝决定厚葬朱岷王，铸造黄金头颅入殓，以遮人耳目。天下盗墓贼及土匪云集武冈，明清之间展开了一场角逐。故事的部分情节根据民间传说做了虚构。。This is a story of Minke and Annelies who weave love in the early 20th century colonial turbulance.
