该剧讲述了发生在大厨师石为天和球星徐小阳两家人之间错综复杂的生活矛盾、情感纠葛，而打工妹、小演员、酒吧老板、花店经理等形形色色的人物则穿插其间，为观众延续着这个讲不完的“幸福”故事。。海边别墅的女房客埃勒维兹掉下悬崖死亡，邻居德拉蒙向警局声称他们在海边发生了一次争吵，他转身离开，后来才发现酒醉的埃勒维兹失足落海。房东——寡妇琳恩搬进了已故丈夫留下的这栋海滨别墅里。她发现德拉蒙会经常过来干扰她的生活，虽然自己很生气却又被他迷倒。在琳恩决定与德拉蒙结婚并前去度蜜月之时，却发现他可能与埃勒维兹的死有关，甚至还可能会杀害自己……。Through this film our aim is to promote the fascinating personality of Nikos Kazantzakis, as well as the enchanting scenery of Greece that molded him into the man he became.
