明末，昏君崇祯不断缺陷取苛捐杂税，加深人民的痛苦。农民高良敏因付不出捐税，父子俩都被抓入狱，儿媳张慧珠日夜织绢才将高父子赎回。刚到家，公差就来抽取新税，父子俩连夜去采药被老虎吃了，慧珠的独子宝琏又被抓去，年迈的婆婆被气身亡。索税公差仍向她要税，慧珠一人逃进深山荒野，自刎而死。。I Saw the Sun (Güneşi Gördüm) is a Turkish film by Mahsun Kırmızıgül. In the film two brothers go on opposite sides in a Turkish-Kurdish conflict| it opened at the number one position at the Turkish box office in 2009. The film was announced as the Turkish submission to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in September 2009.。
