When Isabella Tree and her husband arrived at the rural estate they had inherited and saw the vast swathes of farmland that came with it, they immediately saw how sick the land was—entire habitats destroyed, bird and plant species gone extinct, fields saturated with chemicals. The experiment they decided to undertake was extreme: To heal nature, they had to let it heal itself. ...。作曲家波特（约翰·马尔科维奇 John Malkovich 饰）和作家妻子姬特（德博拉·温格 Debra Winger 饰）在二战后携两人的朋友雷纳（坎贝尔·斯科特 Campbell Scott 饰）一起来到北非撒哈拉旅行。在神秘而捉摸不定的沙漠中，波特和姬特的婚姻危机似乎也因此得到了异样 的缓和——波特流连于和当地的妓女寻欢，而姬特却和雷纳发生了关系。在夫妻关系的断裂中，波特和姬特重新意识到对方对自己的重要性。然而此时波特不幸染上霍乱，姬特带着他辗转奔袭在撒哈拉，严酷的沙漠吞噬了希望，最终波特还是离姬特而去。姬特在悲痛中阴差阳错跟随一支驼队继续在沙漠中踯躅，并成为驼队的女人，在无尽的沙漠中渐行渐远……。《中华美德》是由上海美术电影制片厂出品的一部长达100集动画连续剧，是以动画片诙谐、幽默的艺术表现形式，参照史实记载精选的一百个古今美德故事，通过孝敬父母、谦虚礼貌、诚实守信等中华传统礼仪进行归类制作，讲述了一个个脍炙人口的小故事。。
