失踪已久的父亲突然在圣诞节时返家，现身于豪华的祖宅之中，让关系不和的四姐妹上了一堂有关家庭合睦的速成课。话剧院优秀青年演员周华（宋丹丹 饰）事业与爱情双得意，然厄运突然袭来，她被诊断患有严重肾炎，被迫推迟与同剧院的恋人方波（英达 饰）的婚期。治病期间，周华邂逅耿直、忠厚的出租车司机高强（谢园 饰）。经过一段时间交往，两人对彼此都产生爱意，而碍于世俗的观念，他们始终将感情埋藏心底。 不久高强闪电登记结婚，婚礼当晚，他却在接送周华的途中不慎发生车祸，导致周的学生苏蓓车祸身亡。这起事件导致高强的婚姻破裂，他本人也被拘留，不过却使周华和高强走得更近……。Set in 1989, Jake (Harmon), an out-of-work photojournalist who struggles with addiction and a troubled past, takes a job as watchman of a wilderness lodge on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest, alongside veteran handyman Sparky (Granger). Jake sets up a darkroom to develop the photos he shoots, which begin to reveal disturbing premonitions of their future.。
