本片以内蒙古红会原会长云曙碧的事迹为原型，20年来，她通过国际红十字会组织和中国红字会，从国内外募集了价值2亿多元人民币的救灾款物，用于灾民。用自己的工资和儿女孝敬她的钱救济贫困学生和贫困农牧民……。影片讲述了因为轮船失事年轻的三男三女漂到一个无人居住的荒岛上，在充满未知、资源匮乏的环境中，他们一边寻求救援机会，一边又被小岛的风景所吸引。六个原本被城市紧张生活所压抑的年轻人，在小岛上重新认识自我和生命。剧情全程情节起伏，笑料不断。。"A Walk to Beautiful" tells the story of five women in Ethiopia suffering from devastating childbirth injuries. Rejected by their husbands and ostracized by their communities, these women are left to spend the rest of their lives in loneliness and shame.
