该剧讲述了抗战爆发后，年轻留洋爱国青年马亮成回国参战，报效祖国，与日军斗智斗勇，英勇歼灭日军骑兵队的抗战故事。。被裁員的台幹阿國回到台灣，和找不到工作的女兒巧寧在同個屋簷下生活，彼此隱滿，只是想維繫得來不易的幸福快樂。阿國靠著假扮記者，騙吃騙喝，巧寧每天打詐騙電話，混口飯吃，當彼此的謊言被揭穿時，他們要如何面對……。Johnny is finally old enough to participate in Porkbelly's Annual Running of the Squirrels, but he has to get past his mom, who thinks it's too dangerous. Johnny, the twins and Mom realize it's Father's Day, and they don't have a gift. They try many disastrous attempts, making Dad wish they had never remembered.。
