1947年春，我军与国民党在鲁南将展开战略决战，大战前夜，烟庄正举办一个没有新郎的特殊婚礼，春英（刘琳 饰）抱着一只公鸡替当兵的小叔子娶月芬（李念 饰）进了门。男人们大都上了前线，妇救会长兰花（范志博 饰）带妇孺老幼准备艰巨的支前仼务，他们不分日夜地摊煎饼、筹马草、做军鞋，拆了门板做单架。秀秀的哥哥大壮（李晨 饰）是六纵的战士，其父怕独子战死疆场，谎称老伴病重骗回儿子，将其锁在地窖中。黑燕（曹苑 饰）召集秀秀（张璇 饰）、小鹤（王莎莎 饰）用调虎离山计将大壮放出返回部队。为筹措军粮，月芬在路上与从未谋面的丈夫擦肩而过，不久，丈夫牺牲在前线，致成终身撼事。孟良崮战役打响后，兰花带众姐妹义无反顾地上了前线……。Saturday Night Live aired its eighth season during the 1982–1983 season on NBC.
