本作は甲斐が20年以上をかけ構想し書き上げたオリジナル作品。舞台はそう遠くない現代、国家が推進する延命治療として、一定の階級より上の人間が病に侵されたとき、自分と同じ見た目の“それ”が提供されて病の身代わりになるという設定で展開される“命の問題作”だ。。讲述洛杉矶一对年轻夫妇和5岁女儿，以及两位离婚室友的故事。。Martin and Lucas are getting used to living in the boarding school. Fermin is looking for Irene's baby. Hector has decided to sell one of the diamonds he found in the cave. Lucas makes friends with Paula and Evelyn.。
