Set in the summer of 1852 in the village of Kengis, Northern Sweden, the series follows the young Sami boy-Jussi and his mentor, the newly appointed revivalist Pastor, as they investigate multiple-killings of young girls。山本中学のマンガを原作とする本作は、月額課金制の“彼女”となった女性たちの恋愛交錯劇。なぜか彼女のいる男性にばかり好かれてしまう主人公・トモは、苦い体験から脱するためにSNSで“サブスク彼女”というサービスを始める。ある日、自分に一途に好意を寄せる地元の男友達・コースケから告白されたトモは、素直になれずにサブスク彼女としての契約を提案する。。
