黑人喜剧明星艾迪格里芬在影片中饰演一位留着非洲发型，一副七十年代流行装扮的黑人英雄，绰号“Undercover Brother”的间谍。他被委派去打入一个邪恶的反政府组织的内部，以便在适当的时机瓦解他们，和他合作的是一位性感的新来女同事。他们在潜入这个组织之后，积极寻找组织的犯罪证据，但不久却被人发现，对方派来了另外一位性感女人来对付他……。故事发生在唐朝，天授年间，国泰民安却也暗潮涌动，坊间多有诡事发生。年轻的狄仁杰在追查多人失踪案时无意中撞见活人变干尸的怪事。官府刻意隐瞒，皆因此事涉及武后和长孙无忌宫廷内斗，狄仁杰一意孤行誓要和发小，女保镖鱼兰青把真相揭露到底，却遭遇神秘刺客袭击，从而结识了身背两条人命债的嫌犯欧阳华，千丝万缕中他渐渐发现真相的背后还有真相，而欧阳华正是干尸一案的关键所在。与此同时，两派势力的爪牙也正斗得如火如荼，狄仁杰等人被卷入了漩涡中心，真相呼之欲出，但狄仁杰也危在旦夕……。One day, thinking that it will make your wife and friends smile, you shave off the moustache that you have had for the last ten years. Viewers who like their conclusions tidy may rebel, but those who relish outstanding performances in the service of an intriguing idea will be entertained.
