孙敏仪（汪明荃 饰）开设了孙敏仪律师事务所，经过多年的辛苦打拼，终于在业界取得了一定的威望和名声。大女儿沈一心（刘绰琪 饰）、女婿熊志达（黎耀祥 饰）和小女儿沈一言（胡杏儿 饰）都是孙敏仪手下的得力干将，一家人聚集在一起，将事务所经营的风生水起，井井有条。 程学勤（陈键锋 饰）是事务所里新来的律师，英俊帅气，年轻有为。在漂亮地打赢了几场官司之后，程学勤很快就博得了孙敏仪的赞赏和信任。随着时间的推移，沈一言和程学勤越走越近，彼此之间慢慢产生了感情，然而，当孙敏仪得知此事时，却一反常态地激烈阻止两人的继续交往。这其中究竟隐藏了怎样的秘密呢？。The series tells the story of an extended family and four young people who are drawn into the world of ska and two-tone music, which exploded from the grassroots of Coventry and Birmingham in the late 70s and early 80s, uniting black, white, and Asian youths.
