七个囚徒挖隧道逃出囹圄。他们不仅要应对来自于监狱看守和其他囚徒的麻烦，还要处理七个人之间的内讧。他们在隧道中挖到不祥之物：人骨---阿根廷黑暗时代的证明。在绝望的时刻，这些亡命之徒和死灵签订了契约：只要他们能活着出去，一定将真相大白于天下。An oil company is drilling in a small town and suddenly they face volcanic eruption. This seems a small event at first sight but soon it becomes clear that it is the start of a long chain of eruptions. In the movie we see people rushing to save their lives and gradually it becomes a global phenomena that has ability to enfulf the whole globe。
