《Peeping Life》的制片商CoMix Wave Films曾为多部新海城电影担任制片，本作虽是短篇，但同样融合了众多技术上的新尝试。动画最大看点当属出色的视觉表现，每一集的背景均是先摄影，然后再加工成3DCG。人物动作方面更是令人吃惊，每个角色的各种细微且无意义的动作均会得到很好的还原，宛如在看真人剧般。除此之外，本系列在台词方面也是下足功夫，相信会博得诸君一笑。 日本新一代动画制作人大都从短篇做起，近年来声名大噪的新海城就是其中一人。近年这些短篇成了创意的温床，当中不少也获得日本国内外奖赏。如果诸君看厌了商业动画，不妨留意一下本片。。A Japanese ghost story adapted from Hearn's "Yuki-Onna"(Kwaidan). Two woodcutters, an old man and his young apprentice, Minokichi get trapped in a snowstorm in the forest and take refuge in a hut. That night, Minokichi is forced to make a bargain that will later be forgotten. Filmed and edited by Michelle. Sets designed & built by Michelle & Kheri.
