警方设立一个名为“2002”的部门，专门对付祸害人间的游魂野鬼。部门内潮是拥有阴阳眼的人类，Sam则是个鬼魂，整个部门便由这一人一鬼组成。期间他们遇到了形形式式的加害人类的鬼魂，并一一收复了。后来潮受死去的四婆所托，帮忙照顾住院中的孙女Rain。潮爱上了医院中的一名护士。但他要专心与Sam一起对付水鬼，这场争斗将决定他们的生死。。Two narrators, one seen and one unseen, discuss possible connections between a series of paintings. The on-screen narrator walks through three-dimensional reproductions of each painting, featuring real people, sometimes moving, in an effort to explain the series' significance.。
