为了拯救父母在小镇上的音乐演出场所，这个从大城市归来的女舞者决定策划场全为男性参演的圣诞主题滑稽剧，并逅了一个通晓所有技巧的男子。。讨厌动物的任春佳 (郑丹瑞饰)，在山中遇到意外，幸得流浪狗烧腩、动物义工邓悦娜 (卢慧敏饰)发现而脱险。烧腩的灵性，渐渐打开这个顽固老人的心扉，春佳和悦娜更因此成为忘年好友。在悦娜的帮助下，春佳逐渐解开和女儿素仪 (廖子妤饰)积压多年的心结。与此同时，怀着恶意的狂徒，正计划下药毒杀村中一带的流浪狗‥‥‥。Try as he might, the roguishly handsome Cliff Starkey, just can't keep out of trouble. In his sleepy home town on the English coast, nothing much inspires him...apart from bowls. Cliff has always preferred to play by his own rules much to the disapproval of the regimented, elderly bowls fraternity.
