19世纪的严冬，一艘船在一个与世隔绝的贫穷村庄附近遭遇意外沉没，而村民们为是否救助船员而陷入了两难的境地，因为这个村庄能过冬的物资也不多了。随着时间的流逝，村民们发现他们正面临着他们的决定所带来的可怕后果，不安的氛围弥漫在了整个村庄之中...。A young girl lives with her mother in an isolated mountain cabin.
